ince 2001, we have enjoyed looking after many professional people from all over the world. To date we have had over 150 five star reviews from previous guests; Below are some of their comments. Reviewed by: Janice O'Hara 15-Dec-2008... Can't begin to describe the joy of staying with Shaun and Gill for the last 5 months. Clean, Warm, Cosy, Friendly, Great Food, Nothing too much trouble - it's all been said before. I work as a contractor and being away from home isn't always fun, but Shaun does everything in his power to make your stay great, be it for a night or a year. Nice one Shaun - here's hoping my next contract is in Milton Keynes! Reviewed by: anne 17-Nov-2008... I am an architecture student, i stayed there for just one night but to me it was like forever. The owner was so sweet and kind, the house was well taken care of, am definitely going to go back there again soon. |

| A warm welcome awaited us on arrival Shaun collected us from the station and took us every where for the duration of our stay. nothing was aproblem. We got fed good and plenty. We had many alaugh with Shaun and behind every good man is agood woman Gill. We will stay again and would recommend City Central Bed and Breakfast Milton Keynes | |

| I have just got back from staying at this b&b for the last night. I have to say it's by far the best b&b I have ever stayed in. The room was immaculate as well as the service I recieved. Shaun made me fill at home and was always there if I needed any help. Defantly recommended. | |

| We were lucky enough to get a spot at this B&B after a cancellation, what a result. Shaun (I should work for MK Tourist Board) and Gill (who I'm hoping to persuade to adopt me) are THE most fantastic hosts. You're made welcome from the second you arrive (sometimes before hand if they spot you driving into the street). The house/rooms/facilities/garden are all immaculately kept. There is nothing they guys won't do for you. It made what would have been a great gig turn into an incredible mini holiday. Thankyou both so much, will without doubt be back again soon | |

| We have just stayed this weekend for the foo fighters and that topped off a brilliant stay. Shaun and Gill are the most wonderful couple and made us feel so welcome. Will definitely be back for another visit soon. Their b&b is without a doubt the best we've ever stayed in beating 5*hotels to boot! Nothing is too much trouble. | I had the great pleasure of Staying at the City Central Bed and Breakfast Milton Keynes for almost a month in the autumn of 2010 as a first step in my relocation to Milton Keynes. Relocating always offers a number of challenges, but Shaun who runs the B&B went to great length to help with whatever he could on this front. Whether it was advising on where to do the best shopping or take your for a guided tour around Milton Keynes in the search for suitable and safe accommodation, it was always done with a big smile.... And that is, by the way, normally the way you will meet Shaun. Regardless of the time of day he will greet you with a warm and welcoming smile and enlighten your mood with one of his many stories which he will share with you in an eagerly and enthusiastic manner. He is a man that loves his job, his B&B and his guests and he will make sure that you are having the best stay as absolutely possible. As for the B&B, it is all you can ask of a such. It is very clean and tidy and in the morning Shaun will make you a hearty breakfast should that be your liking, or you can opt for his delicious fruit bowl if you would like to start your day in a more refreshing way. Of course the B&B does, in contrast to high end hotels, not have facilities like a gym or swimming pool (though I am sure if you ask, you would be allowed to dabble in the goldfish pond on the terrace...), but for the basic needs you ask of accommodation it has got them covered to the full, even laundry service should that be needed. As for my best experience(s) it must have been the nights where you sit down at the large dinning table in the living room to have you supper in company of some of the other guests. Many good conversations would arise, fun stories being shared and fascinating experiences from all over planet One thing is sure, unless you ask of it, you will regardless of whether you are travelling by your self or not, never feel alone here. As a seasoned traveller and having stayed at many of the worlds greater hotels, I must say that the City Central Bed and Breakfast Milton Keynes is by far the overall best hotel experience I have had. | |

| IF EVER A MAN WANTED TO CHANGE A CAREER AND WIN AN OSCAR THIS WOULD BE SEAN. ABSOLUTELY FANTASTIC HOST WHO COULD NOT DO ENOUGH FOR HIS GUESTS STAYING- INCLUDING PICK UP DROP TO TRAIN STATION - EARLY MORNING BREAKFAST - 6AM, FREE BEER, GOOD COMPANY, THE BEST BED I'VE EVER SLEPT IN AND A MAN WHO LOVES HIS JOB, HIS FAMILY AND THE GUEST STAYING AT HIS B&B. | Superb food, customer service second to none | |
| I stayed here in Feb 2011 and Shaun could not do enough for my self and work mate. We opted for Bed breakfast and evening meal. The food was plentiful - fabulous and home made which is very unusual these days - breakfasts to set you up for the day. No lunch required couldnt wait to get back to see what we were having for our evening meal, couple of pints included as well. Great accommodation lovely and clean and very welcoming, very central for all our needs. Would recommend this place to everyone on business trips or if you are away for the weekend. | Never in a million years,even after being told how sean was with people, would I have believed the service we got. Sean is definitely one in a million, he goes over and beyond hospitality. Picked up and dropped off was no problems to him, help with bags, overfed with huge delicious brekkie, Tea and supplies to keep us going throughout our day in Olympia, he's just totally amazing and never NEVER is still and so welcoming.. | Spotless clean. Food extraordinary and plentiful. Of all the digs I've had over the years ( and I've had a few!) these are without a doubt the best. | well what can we say, just like all the other reviews this couple are amazing, they treat you like family we stayed for two nights for the prodigy concert,from the moment you walk through the door shaun cant do enough for you giving lifts and collecting all his guests from the concert at the bowl and this was nearly midnight by the time he had all his guests safely back, they both work so hard and the place is spotless, so if ever you stay in milton keynes give this place a try as i guarantee you wont be dissapointed with the 5 star truly genuine hosts that are shaun and gill. | |

| I have stayed in many B&B's in my travels and this by far the best I've been in. Shaun Maxfield runs a budget B&B with 5 Star service - SECOND TO NON! Shaun is very down to earth and hospitable, the house is exceptionally clean and well presented! The breakfasts and dinners are of the highest standard and Shaun even offers courtesy travel around Milton Keynes if required. At £35-45 a night the choice is simple - City Central B&B Milton Keynes! | We was there 3 weeks and all i can say is that it was the best B&B i have been in, i'v been working around the uk for 3 years now and have been to hundreds of B&B's and this one tops them all, the breakfasts was huge.. ! he would say every day " I can go bigger " and i would just look at the plate in shock,the B&B is very clean shaun is always on the move making the place sparkle, and i will be recommending it to any one who is going to milton keynes. | i've just finished a months stay with Shaun!! what can i say............ the best b&b i've stayed in, in the last 3years!! Shaun gves 110% to all his guests and the poor blokes on the move 24/7! it was a home from home for the past 4 weeks, i enjoyed every minute. Note to the weary...... Shauns brekies are not for the faint hearted haha The guy sure knows how to make a breakfast :) thanks again Shaun and i hope to stop with you again one day!! in fact i now i will haha nice one | |
